CAPACITY BUILDING FOR CONSERVATION (CBBC) PROJECT

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Forest Protection Department has received a grant from the TFF Trust Fund and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to recruit qualified and experienced candidates to support implementation of the Project of Development, piloting and institutionalisation of national short term training curricula to improve capacity of sector agencies in forest and biodiversity protection and law enforcement (CBBC Project). The CBBC Project is seeking two qualified and dynamic individuals for the following position:

Short-term national consultants for curriculum development: To assist the project in the development of national curricular for operational training of special-use forests/protected areas (PAs) personnel.

Qualifications: Vietnamese national with a related academic qualification (master degree or above is preferred). At least 5 years’ professional experience, preferably working forest rangers’ training institutes. Experience in the development of curricula and writing training materials for PA personnel.

Duty Station: The above individuals will be located within the CBBC Project Office in Hanoi with possible travels to the field. He/she will initially be hired for 30 days from 24 April to 31 May 2008.
